Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about getting a website for your Jacksonville small business. Don’t see your question? Just ask.

Pricing & payment

How much does a website cost?

A one-page website is a one-time $350 setup. That covers design, mobile-friendly layout, your services and prices, a contact or booking form, and basic Google setup. The optional Monthly Care Plan is $35/month.

How do I pay?

A 50% deposit reserves your spot and gets your project started. The rest is due when your site is finished and you’ve approved it, before it goes live.

Are there any other costs?

Your domain (like yourbusiness.com) costs about $10–$20 a year. Hosting is included in the $35/month Care Plan. If you’d rather not use the Care Plan, you can host the site yourself for a small monthly fee, and I’ll help you set it up.

What does the $35/month Care Plan include?

Hosting and domain kept running, security and plugin updates, monthly backups, small monthly edits (new prices, hours, photos, or promos), and priority support by text or email. It’s optional, and you can cancel whenever you like with 30 days’ notice.

The process

How long does it take?

Most one-page sites are ready in about 7–10 business days once I have your content: logo, services, prices, photos, and contact details. Waiting on content is the most common delay, so I’ll send you a simple checklist up front.

What do I need to provide?

Your business name and logo (if you have one), a list of services and prices, your hours and location or service area, a few photos of your work, and links to your Instagram or booking app. Don’t have everything? I’ll help you figure it out.

Can I make changes before it goes live?

Yes. You’ll see a preview link and get two rounds of revisions to adjust wording, photos, colors, and layout before launch.

I don’t have good photos. Can you help?

Yes. I can use quality stock photos to start, and professional photos of your work and space can be added as an extra. Real photos of your own work always convert best.

Features

Can clients book appointments from my website?

Yes. I can connect the booking tool you already use, like Square, Calendly, Acuity, Jobber, Vagaro, or Booksy, so clients book in one tap. If you don’t use one yet, your site can include a request form that sends inquiries straight to you.

Will my website work on phones?

Yes. Every site is built mobile-first, since most of your clients will find you on their phone.

Will I show up on Google?

Every site includes basic SEO setup: page titles, descriptions, a sitemap, and Google Search Console. For local searches, I also recommend a free Google Business Profile, and I can help you set one up. No one can honestly guarantee a #1 ranking, but these basics give you a strong start.

Why do I need a website if I have Instagram?

Instagram is great for showing your work, but it’s hard to find through Google, and you don’t control it. A website gives clients one clear place for your services, prices, policies, and booking link, and it makes you look established.

I already have a free booking page (Square, Calendly, Booksy, Vagaro). Why do I need a website?

Your booking app is where clients book. Your website is where they find you and decide. It shows up on Google, it’s 100% your brand, and it sends people straight to your booking app.

After launch

Who owns the website?

You do. Your domain, content, and photos are yours.

Can I update the website myself?

Yes. Your site is built on WordPress, so you can make simple updates yourself. If you’d rather not deal with it, the Care Plan covers small edits each month.

What if I need more than one page later?

No problem. One-page sites are a great start, and I can add pages like a full service menu, gallery, or policies page as your business grows. Just ask for a quote.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Any small business that needs a simple, professional website: salons, barbers, cleaners, landscapers, trainers, photographers, food trucks, contractors, and more. If you serve customers around Jacksonville, I’d love to help.

Do you work with Spanish-speaking clients? / ¿Atiende en español?

Yes! ¡Sí, con gusto! I’m happy to talk with you in Spanish, from the first message to launch day. Your website itself will be written in English.
